SNAP Crisis Line: 24 hour crisis phone line with immediate service at all times. (337) 367- SNAP
SNAP Shelter: 22 bed shelter providing food, clothing and other necessities that are kept confidential to make it safe for the women & children.
Support Groups: Mondays & Thursdays 6PM. Address dynamics of domestic violence, setting boundaries, the cycle of abuse, etc. Tuesdays and Fridays at 9:30AM are support groups to address self-esteem issues.
Life Skills Training: Life skills and empowerment training including business start-up, resumes, financial planning and budgeting time & money, developing job skills & portfolios and identifying skills and interests. For both residential and non-residential.
Legal Options Counseling: A full-time legal advocate assists in completion of Temporary Restraining Orders, court escorts, information and referrals.
Children’s Program: Children’s Director provides daily structured play groups, weekly feelings groups and summer activities. After school tutoring provided by a certified teacher.
Parenting: Available every week by a Certified Instructor for residents and non-residents.
Outreach Program: Outreach services to non-residential survivors in the Jeanerette, Lydia, Loreauville and Delcambre areas in Iberia Parish. Outreach services to non-residential survivors in St. Martin Parish.
Volunteer Program: Volunteers are recruited and trained to assist staff in all areas of the program. They are essential to provide the highest quality of intervention services.
Community Education: We offer on-going educational programs to all community groups. Programs on dating violence for high schools and middle schools. Puppets are used for personal safety for elementary school students.
